I've been keeping a check on the postings of Don's records ON YOU TUBE and there is one posting of 'Band of Gold', that has just registered 60,000 visits. WOW. it just shows how many fans there are interested in Don's music. I notice that Gerry plummer who is one of Don's biggest fans, always says nice things about Don in the comments section.Well done Gerry.

My dad took me to watch the Walker Cup in 1953 at age 14 at Kittansett. I remember seeing you play. I also met Bobby Jones and Francis Oimette (sp?). It sparked my interest in golf. Never achieved any particular success in the game, but have enjoyed playing it over many years.

You are truly a multi-dimensional person, something that we rarely see nowadays.

I wish you the absolute best. You have lived a very rich life.

Met you in the 50's at a "Dan Ryan record hop" at the Idora Park Ballroom in Youngstown,Ohio. I sing also,probably been singing Band of Gold almost as long as you LOL. Was in a local variety show from 1991 to 2001 and used songs from "Swinging for Two" for 8 of the 10 years. Got to meet and talk to many of my old favorites,Joni James,Al Martino,Jerry Vale.
