Don & Francine,
What a trip down memory lane - one of the best days I've had in a long time.
Fondly, Carol Jones
Dear Mr. and Mrs. Cherry,
I just wanted to tell you, Don, how thrilled I was to hear you singing in Houston, at the Petroleum Club. I have been a fan for years, but to hear you sing in person is a dream come true. I have been playing my CD over and over again. You both are so very gracious. Thank you for that wonderful voice. I look forward to seeing you at another event, soon I hope.

Good morning Don and Francine,
We are just dropping you a short note to let you
both know how much Ruth and I enjoyed last night's show at the club in Houston. "The Trip Down Memory Lane"was a great introduction. Each time I see a Don Cherry live performance I am amazed and astonished at how his voice has withstood the test of time. Last night was no exception. It was good seeing you both again.
Your friends, Glen & Ruth

Dear Mr. Cherry,
Just a short note to let you know how much we enjoyed your concert here in Houston. The only complaint we have is it just was not long enough!! Music with that much quality today is fading fast, today's music is just "noise" to me. I listened to your CD going to your concert and coming home, in fact I have one playing at my work now. My customers make comments like "what station do you have on, that's wonderful music."
There is one song that for some reason is sticking in my head. "Wanted." It's there morning, noon & night.... Thanks again for the privilege of being able to see your live performance at our beautiful Petroleum club. Hope to see you again next year, Lord willing.
Sincerely,
Donna Boyd,
Houston, TX
Marc,
We all had a wonderful time and enjoyed Don Cherry very much. The entire evening was most fun, and thank you for planning this great event. Heard very favorable comments about the evening, and someone even asked me - do you think the club will do another concert like this again. Don Cherry is amazing, his voice is still very strong and for him to be on stage as long as he performed was pretty incredible.
Take care, Gail
Dear Gail, Don and Francine had a good time and were very complimentary of our club and membership. I am making a motion at the next board meeting to make him an honorary member!! It was a great show.

A POEM FOR DON
Don Cherry
I held a dream within my heart
of one who was so dear.
A man of so much grace and charm
altho he was not near.
My favorite one, to whom I talked
His beautiful wife Francine.
A sweeter person in this world
no one has ever seen.
Together they will always bring
altho we are far apart
when I hear THAT voice sing
it brings joy into my heart
